Currently, the total pig herd in the area is relatively large with about 3,000 pigs. Given the complicated epidemic situation, we have requested the District Veterinary Station to provide chemicals, and at the same time, a week ago we bought 500 kg of lime to be ready to fight the epidemic with a high determination to not let the epidemic spread to neighboring localities.
Dien Nguyen commune is a key area of Dien Chau district, not only has a large pig herd but also is geographically located between Dien Thai and Dien Quang communes, where African swine fever occurred not long ago.
