Accordingly, the new outbreak of African swine fever in Dien Hoa commune was at Mr. Thai Doan Tuan's household in hamlet 6 with 16 infected pigs, including 1 sow and 15 piglets, with a total weight of 217 kg.

Immediately after the new outbreak, local authorities and veterinary agencies destroyed pigs and implemented disease prevention and control solutions.

Thus, from January 26 until now, African swine fever has re-emerged in 4 communes of Dien Chau district: Dien Kim, Dien Hai, Dien Ngoc and Dien Hoa.

Worryingly, in these communes, pigs are still regularly infected with diseases sporadically in farming households, with a high risk that the disease will spread widely.
