Dien Chau honors 89 good people and good deeds among Catholics

On September 25, the Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Chau district coordinated with the Catholic Solidarity Committee of the district to summarize the emulation movement "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas, live a good life and follow the religion", praising 89 good people and good deeds among Catholics for the 5th time, period 2015 - 2020.

Over the past 5 years, the Catholic Solidarity Committee of Dien Chau district has effectively implemented the movement "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas, live a good life and follow the religion" with 8 key contents. Catholics have actively built 194 good production and business models, with an average annual income of over 200 million VND to billions of VND. Thanks to that, the total number of well-off households has increased to 46%, and the number of poor households has decreased to 2.1%.

If in 2015 there were 8 cultural villages, in 2019 there were 11 villages achieving the cultural title. In 5 years there were 36 excellent students of the province, 536 students passed the university and college entrance exams. The parishioners also supported 950 million VND to build the "For the Poor" Fund.
