Dien Chau: Nearly 700kg of animal products destroyed

Accordingly, at 11:00 p.m. on June 21, on National Highway 1A, passing through Dien Hong Commune, the working group of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station inspected the car with license plate number 38B-00570 driven by Duong Cong Phuc (born in 1989), residing in Can Loc District, Ha Tinh Province, and discovered that the car was carrying 5 foam boxes containing 260kg of pig organs. All of the above organs did not have quarantine records.

Also that night, at 1:40 a.m. on June 22, the working group inspected and discovered a car with license plate number 76B - 00319 driven by Bui Van Dao (born in 1974) from Tay Phuoc - Binh Dinh, carrying 2 foam boxes containing 140 kg of processed beef ears and hoods, all without valid documents. The driver declared that he was hired to transport the above goods for customers to Hanoi for consumption.

It is known that earlier, at 7:00 p.m. on June 20, also in Dien Hong commune, the working group discovered a car with license plate number 47C-12817 driven by Phan Nhat Khoa (born in 1991) from Buon Ma Thuot - Dak Lak, carrying 7 carton boxes containing 260 kg of cow feet and tamarinds without valid documents.

All of the above animal products were handed over to Dien Chau Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station for handling according to regulations, and each driver was administratively fined 7 million VND.

This morning, June 25, 2018, Dien Chau Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station destroyed nearly 700 kg of animal products without the above quarantine certification records.
