Investigate and strictly handle the case of a group of people beating a classmate unconscious.
On January 10, Tra Vinh City Police (Tra Vinh Province) said that the Investigation Agency is consolidating the case file to handle the related subjects regarding the gang assault that caused a 10th grade male student to become unconscious and had to be hospitalized for emergency treatment.
The summoned and interrogated subjects are between 15 and 18 years old, residing in wards 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, Long Duc commune (Tra Vinh city), Luong Hoa commune, Luong Hoa A and Chau Thanh town (Chau Thanh district).
Initial information, on January 9, Ba In Twoo Ni and Nguyen Hoang Phuc Khang sought to beat Tran Quoc Khanh (residing in Nguyet Hoa commune, Chau Thanh district), a 10th grade student at Tra Vinh City High School. The reason was that both were previously beaten by Khanh's group of friends and were stopped by everyone.

After school, Ni and Khang arranged to fight again with Khanh's group in Ward 9 (Tra Vinh City). Ni and Khang's group called more friends to go with them.
At the meeting point, Ni and Khang's group of friends rushed forward and continuously used their hands and helmets to beat Khanh unconscious. Khanh was taken to the emergency room, with initial injuries determined to be a swollen left cheek, bleeding from the nose and mouth, and multiple soft tissue injuries.

On the night of January 9, Tra Vinh City Police urgently verified, quickly clarified and summoned the relevant subjects. Here, 12 subjects admitted to participating in beating Khanh, causing injuries.
The Board of Directors of Tra Vinh Provincial Police Department directed to urgently investigate, prosecute and strictly handle the subjects.
