Temporarily suspending the operation of Northeast bus route Vinh - Yen Thanh
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Department of Transport has just issued an official dispatch on temporarily suspending bus route No. 05 of Dong Bac company running from Vinh city to Yen Thanh district.
On September 25, 2019, the Department of Transport issued Decision No. 583/QD-GTVT on handling violations against bus transport businesses in Nghe An.
Then, on September 26, Nghe An Department of Transport issued Official Dispatch No. 3052/SGTVT - VT regarding the coordination of the temporary suspension of bus route No. 05 (Vinh inner city - National Highway 1A - National Highway 7B - Yen Thanh Town).
Accordingly, the Department of Transport temporarily suspended the operation of bus route No. 05 (Vinh inner city - National Highway 1A - National Highway 7B - Yen Thanh town). The suspension period is from September 29 to October 5, 2019 (when the unit finishes fixing the violation).

Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - Head of Transport Management Department (Department of Transport) said: The reason for the temporary suspension of the Dong Bac bus company to Yen Thanh is because recently, the company has had 16 buses running this route, most of which are in disrepair.
The Department of Transport has asked this bus company to replace 5 buses, the remaining buses must be repaired and maintained to ensure traffic safety. Not to mention that the Dong Bac bus company running the Vinh City - Yen Thanh route recently also violated the law of stopping and picking up passengers beyond the prescribed time.

Nghe An Department of Transport requires Dong Bac bus company to fix the above violations by October 5 before resuming operations.
