Do Luong strives to become a new rural district in 2020

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 23, the People's Committee of Do Luong district held a summary of the national target program on new rural construction for the 2011-2015 period.

After 5 years of implementing the national target program on building new rural areas, Do Luong has achieved many important results: The agricultural economy has continuously grown, many scientific and technical advances have been applied to production, and rural infrastructure has been invested and upgraded. In particular, with the positive response of all classes of people, many new projects have been invested in, making the rural face have many changes, and people's income and life have been improved and enhanced.

Do Luong district leaders awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the new rural construction movement.

Currently, Do Luong has completed the land consolidation and plot exchange work, built 42 production development models with a total investment support of 2,550 million VND. The whole district mobilized 250,429 million VND to build and upgrade 1,568 km of rural roads, intra-field roads and 18,011 bridges and culverts for people; built new, repaired and upgraded 120 schools at all levels with a total cost of 82,556 million VND; built new and upgraded 24 commune health stations, with a total cost of 32,982 million VND...

Up to now, the whole district has achieved 383 criteria, in 2015 alone, it increased by 89 criteria. On average, each commune has achieved 11.97 criteria. By the end of 2015, it is expected that 7 communes will have achieved 19 criteria, including: Thinh Son, Tan Son, Thuong Son, Thai Son, Van Son, Yen Son and Hoa Son. By 2020, the whole district will have 26 communes achieving new rural commune status, making Do Luong a new rural district.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Do Luong district awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the new rural construction movement.
