The delegation of the National Defense Academy offered incense at relic sites, martyrs' cemeteries and gave gifts to policy families in Nghe An.
The delegation offered incense and flowers at Truong Bon National Monument; Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs Cemetery; and Tuong Duong District Martyrs Cemetery.

From July 17 to July 19, the National Defense Academy organized a delegation of officers, lecturers, and students of the 96th National Defense - Security Knowledge Training class to study and conduct practical research in Nghe An province.
The delegation was led by Senior Lieutenant General Tran Viet Khoa - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the National Defense Academy.
The delegation included comrades: Lieutenant General Nguyen Anh Tuan - Deputy Director of the National Defense Academy; Nguyen Van Quyet - Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Committee... Cadres, lecturers of the Academy and students of the 96th National Defense - Security Knowledge Training Course.
Receiving and working with the delegation were comrade Nguyen Van De - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Provincial Military Command, Provincial Border Guard Command, Provincial People's Committee Office, departments, branches and localities in the province.

Within the framework of the study and research trip in Nghe An, on July 17, the delegation of the National Defense Academy offered incense and flowers at Truong Bon National Monument, Do Luong district; Vietnam-Laos International Martyrs Cemetery, Anh Son district; Tuong Duong District Martyrs Cemetery; met and discussed with the District Party Committee, People's Committee and agencies and units of Tuong Duong district; and presented gifts to policy families and poor households in Tuong Duong district.

At the meeting and discussion with the leaders of the District Party Committee, People's Committee and agencies and units of Tuong Duong district, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Viet Khoa clearly stated the meaning and purpose of the study and research trip to Nghe An province.
Accordingly, studying and researching in practice aims to consolidate the theoretical system with the thorough understanding and implementation of the Party and State's guidelines and viewpoints on socio-economic development associated with national defense and security; further understanding of the functions and tasks of the force protecting sovereignty, sea, islands, territory and managing national borders.

From there, advise and propose to the Party and State leaders on policies and measures for socio-economic development associated with strengthening national defense and security in Nghe An province in particular and the Central region in general.
Through practical study and research, the Academy's staff, lecturers and students are able to improve and consolidate their knowledge in organizing and implementing tasks according to each position they hold, contributing to building strong localities, agencies and units to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.


On this occasion, the delegation of cadres and students of the 96th National Defense - Security Knowledge Training Course of the National Defense Academy had many exchanges to clarify further measures for socio-economic development of Nghe An province, experience in building the all-people national defense posture; building defense zones; building combat bases and rear bases.
The delegation presented 100 million VND to the Gratitude Fund of Tuong Duong district; 100 million VND to the Fund for the Poor of Tuong Duong district; 17 houses for 17 households with housing difficulties in Tuong Duong district, each house worth 50 million VND; 10 sets of computers to Yen Thang Secondary School worth 100 million VND; 20 gifts worth 30 million VND to 20 policy households.



On July 18, a delegation from the National Defense Academy will offer incense and flowers at the Kim Lien National Special Historical Relic Site and have a working session with leaders of Nghe An province./.
