Nghe An province delegation visited and presented gifts to Dien Bien soldiers in Nam Dan district
(Baonghean.vn) - A working delegation from Nghe An province visited and gave gifts to the family of Mr. Tran Ba Phuc and the family of Mr. Pham Dinh Dinh.

On the afternoon of April 19, the provincial working delegation led by Mr. Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to war invalids, Dien Bien soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline laborers (who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign) in Nam Dan district.
The working delegation included representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Police, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and Nam Dan district.
Implementing Plan No. 01-KH/BTC dated March 29, 2024 of the Organizing Committee of the Program to meet and honor heroic martyrs, Dien Bien soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline laborers (directly participating in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign) in the province, Nghe An has established working delegations to visit and present gifts to wounded soldiers, Dien Bien soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline laborers.

In Nam Dan district, the working delegation of Nghe An province visited and presented gifts to the family of Mr. Tran Ba Phuc (born in 1929; participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign at Battalion 3, Regiment 351, Division 312 Dien Bien), in Nam Dan town; the family of Mr. Pham Dinh Dinh (born in 1924; participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign at Company 70, Regiment 141, Division 312, attacked Him Lam hill, E1 hill) in Thuong Tan Loc commune.
On behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An province, comrade Bui Dinh Long expressed his deep gratitude to the two Dien Bien soldiers of the past - those who contributed to the victory "Resounding throughout the five continents, shaking the earth". Visiting and presenting gifts to Tran Ba Phuc and Pham Dinh Dinh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long sent his best wishes to their families, hoping that they will continue to live happily and healthily.

Mr. Tran Ba Phuc and Mr. Pham Dinh Dinh were very happy to welcome the delegation. Both of them shared with the delegation their profound memories of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign; at the same time, expressed their wish that their province would continue to promote their homeland's traditions, building Nghe An to become more and more developed and prosperous./.
