Offering a flower basket and incense to the soul of President Ho Chi Minh, the delegation expressed their respect and infinite gratitude for the immense contributions of Uncle Ho, the genius leader of our Party and people, an outstanding activist of the international communist and workers' movement. He devoted and sacrificed his whole life to the cause of national liberation, fighting for the cause of peace and happiness of the Vietnamese people and people of the world.

President Ho Chi Minh has passed away, but his image will always live on in the mountains and rivers of Vietnam; his thoughts will always light the way for the Vietnamese revolution to go from one victory to another.

Implementing his sacred testament, the Standing Committee of the 17th Provincial People's Council, together with the Provincial People's Council delegates, united, innovated, and strived to have a successful term, making important contributions to the overall development of the province, meeting the aspirations of voters, strengthening trust and creating excitement and consensus among the people.

The election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term in the locality was a great success, truly a festival for all people. In particular, voters across the province trusted and elected 83 provincial People's Council deputies, who are exemplary representatives of the will, aspirations and mastery of the people.

On the morning of July 4, 2021, the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, will hold its first session to listen to reports on the election of delegates to the 18th Provincial People's Council; consider and approve other resolutions according to regulations. In particular, the 18th Provincial People's Council will elect the following positions: Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee; Heads and Vice Heads of the Provincial People's Council Committees, members of the Provincial People's Committee; People's Jury of the Provincial People's Court.

Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the delegation pledged to continue promoting the achievements of the past term, overcome difficulties, strengthen solidarity, and strive to perform well the functions, tasks and powers of the Provincial People's Council in the new term.
