Delegation of Nghe An Provincial People's Council offered flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh

On the morning of December 5, before the opening of the 25th Session (regular session), the delegation of the People's Council of Nghe An province, term XVIII, 2021 - 2026, respectfully offered flowers at the Uncle Ho Monument at Ho Chi Minh Square (Vinh City).

Attending the flower offering ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

Also attending the ceremony were comrades: Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Standing Member of the Provincial People's Council; Deputy Heads of the Provincial People's Council Committees; Heads of the Provincial People's Council Delegation; leaders of agencies, units and delegates of the Provincial People's Council.

Offering a basket of fresh flowers to the soul of President Ho Chi Minh, the provincial leaders and the delegation of the Provincial People's Council expressed their respect and infinite gratitude for the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - National liberation hero, outstanding cultural celebrity, and genius leader of the Vietnamese people.

President Ho Chi Minh has passed away, but his image will always live on in the mountains and rivers of Vietnam; his thoughts will always light the way for the Vietnamese revolution to go from one victory to another.

The 25th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, will focus on discussing and evaluating the results of implementing the tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security in 2024; discussing and approving the plan, tasks and solutions for 2025.

The meeting also reviewed and approved the reports on the activities of the Standing Committee, the Provincial People's Council Committees, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Court, the Provincial People's Procuracy, the Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Agency and a number of related contents; approved draft resolutions on socio-economics, national defense and security and decided on a number of contents under its authority.

The meeting will conduct a question and answer session on socio-economic, defense-security, and foreign affairs issues, focusing on two areas: culture and health.

The meeting will take place over 2 days (from December 5 to December 6, 2024) at the Vinh City Convention Center. The meeting will receive voters' opinions and recommendations via the online telephone line system:02383.598828, 02383.598800, 02383.598747.
