The Provincial National Assembly Delegation, along with businesses and philanthropists, supported the construction of charity houses and gave gifts to disabled and orphaned children.
(Baonghean.vn) - On September 23, the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province, led by National Assembly Delegate, Professor, Doctor, Director of the Department of Education and Training Thai Van Thanh, went to Thanh Khai and Thanh Xuan communes (Thanh Chuong) to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for building charity houses for poor households.
Also attending the ceremony were Mr. Ha Thanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Finance, Office of the National Assembly; representatives of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council; Department of Education and Training; representatives of enterprises from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City; leaders of Thanh Chuong district. Also attending the ceremony was Miss, businesswoman Ngo Thu Trang.

Through the connection of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province, on this occasion, Miss and businesswoman Ngo Thu Trang supported Nghe An province to build 5 houses for the poor, each worth 60 million VND, of which 3 houses support the poor in Que Phong district, 2 houses support 2 disadvantaged families in Thanh Chuong district.
Two families that received support to build houses in Thanh Chuong district are Mr. Van Dinh An, Tan Phong hamlet, Thanh Khai commune and Mrs. Tran Thi Cot, Bach Ngoc hamlet, Thanh Xuan commune. Both families are in difficult circumstances, of which Mrs. Tran Thi Cot is the mother of a martyr, lonely and old.

On the same day, the delegation visited the Hien Luong Orphanage for Disabled Children in Tho Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District. Here, the delegation celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival and gave gifts to the children at the center.

The delegation presented gifts to Hien Luong Social Protection Center with a total value of 60 million VND, including 30 million VND worth of goods, including: 1 air conditioner, 1 ton of rice, necessities and 30 million VND in cash.

At the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Thai Van Thanh - representative of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province shared the difficulties of the people and children. The Director of the Department of Education and Training hopes that the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front and social organizations will continue to pay attention to poor households and people in difficult circumstances. Comrade Thai Van Thanh also sincerely thanked the noble gestures of businesses and individuals and hoped that philanthropists would continue to accompany Nghe An province in social security work.
