The Provincial Party Standing Committee's monitoring delegation worked in Tuong Duong district.

On June 7, at the working session, comrade Ngoc Kim Nam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission announced Decision No. 1879-QD/TU, dated April 14, 2023, of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on supervising the leadership, direction, organization, dissemination and implementation of the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels; developing and implementing working regulations; developing and organizing the implementation of key programs and projects to implement the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels; Approving the work plan and schedule of the supervision delegation... for the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and the Standing members of the Tuong Duong District Party Committee.

Tuong Duong is a mountainous border district, especially difficult, one of the 74 poorest districts in the country, with over 90% of the population being ethnic minorities; the rate of poor households according to the new standards is high, accounting for 39.18%.

Tuong Duong District Party Committee currently has 44 grassroots Party organizations (25 grassroots Party Committees and 19 affiliated grassroots Party cells), with a total of 5,445 Party members. The District Party Committee Standing Committee has 11 members; the District Party Committee Executive Committee has 36 members.

In recent years, the Standing Committee of Tuong Duong District Party Committee has fully and promptly issued documents to direct the organization of studying, disseminating and propagating the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels and specialized resolutions. At the same time, it has organized conferences to study and study specialized resolutions for the entire term and term of the 13th Party Congress; the results of the 4th and 6th Central Conferences; and the content of the General Secretary's works. Thereby, it has contributed to orienting ideology and clarifying the objectives of the Party Congress Resolution with 3 breakthroughs and 6 key tasks throughout the term. 100% of grassroots Party organizations have organized studying, disseminating and implementing them to cadres, party members and people seriously, qualitatively, practically and effectively, in association with the implementation of political tasks of localities, agencies and units and launched emulation movements to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels.

The inspection and supervision work has been led and directed by the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee. In recent years, Tuong Duong district has conducted 20 inspections and supervisions at grassroots Party organizations. In particular, focusing on inspecting the organization of studying, grasping and propagating directives, resolutions and documents of higher levels. Through inspections, it is shown that grassroots Party organizations have issued specific plans and instructions, organized timely implementation conferences, disseminated and propagated to cadres, party members and the masses.

The Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Standing Committee of the District Party Committee have issued programs, projects, plans, and action programs to implement the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels and organized implementation in conjunction with supervision at the grassroots level.

As of March 2023, the District Party Committee led and directed the implementation of 43 projects. Regarding economic development, the number of projects and plans proposed was 10, the number of targets proposed was 173; the number of targets achieved was 38/4 projects and plans; the targets exceeded 2/1 project and plan; the targets were not achieved in 128/9 projects and plans (there were 4 projects and plans that did not meet any targets).

Regarding culture and society: The number of proposed projects and plans is 11; the number of proposed targets is 125; the number of targets achieved is 58/9 projects and plans; the number of targets exceeded is 8/4 projects and plans; the number of targets not achieved is 57/9 projects and plans (there is 01 completed plan: the plan to determine the name of Tuong Duong).

The work of building a strong political system and ensuring national defense and security has been built with specific projects and programs and implemented, achieving positive results, contributing to promoting socio-economic development in the area.

According to the plan, the monitoring team will work at the unit and is expected to directly monitor a number of establishments such as: Party Committees of communes: Tam Hop, Tam Quang, Tam Thai, District People's Committee, District Police.
