Nghe An Provincial Police Youth Union won first prize in the 'Traffic Safety Ideas' contest
(Baonghean.vn) - At the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the first contest "Ideas and initiatives to ensure traffic safety and security and order among union members and youth" in the province, the Judging Council awarded the first prize to the group of authors and the collective first prize to the Youth Union of Nghe An Provincial Police.
On the morning of January 6, the Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Provincial People's Committee to organize the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the first contest "Ideas and initiatives to ensure traffic safety and security and order among union members and youth" in the province.

The Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee organized the launching ceremony of the "Youth with Traffic Culture" Festival contest from August 29, 2019. After 2 months of implementation, up to October 30, 2019, the contest attracted more than 2,000 entries.
Among them, there are many outstanding ideas and initiatives on: solving traffic congestion in front of school gates during pick-up and drop-off hours; applying science and technology to propaganda to raise awareness of traffic safety and ensure traffic safety; solutions to propagate and educate laws on traffic safety and order; reducing environmental pollution caused by emissions from vehicles; ideas on building smart traffic, etc.

The contest aims to raise awareness of traffic safety laws, create positive changes in the awareness, attitude and behavior of union members and young people when participating in traffic, contributing to reducing traffic accidents and violations of traffic safety order among union members and young people. Thereby, encouraging the scientific research movement in the field of traffic safety, promoting the thinking and creativity of union members and young people in the area in finding solutions to ensure traffic safety order.
After 2 rounds of judging, the Judging Council selected 22 entries for the final round, and chose to award 10 individual prizes, including 1 First prize, 2 Second prizes, 2 Third prizes, 5 Encouragement prizes and 1 collective prize.

Also this morning, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee organized a conference for reporters in the first quarter of 2020. At the conference, reporters will listen to Prof. Hoang Chi Bao discuss two topics: "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style associated with building a strong Youth Union organization; expanding the solidarity front, gathering young people" and "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style associated with lifelong moral cultivation".
