Tourism businesses recruit Vinh University students to work
(Baonghean.vn) - "Not everyone succeeds in starting a business, there are many failures, but wherever you fall, stand up there" - a tourism business owner shared about the issue of starting a business with students of Vinh University, at the exchange night "Nghe Tinh Xu Nghe" on the evening of September 14. Also at this exchange night, this business owner promised to recruit 1 student to work directly after graduation, and committed to helping students who want to work in the tourism sector to achieve their dreams.
The exchange night was organized by the Department of Tourism in collaboration with Vinh University and tourism businesses. This is one of the activities to celebrate World Tourism Day on September 27; at the same time, it aims to raise charity funds, support students with especially difficult circumstances, striving to study well; policy families and poor communes in Western Nghe An affected by recent floods.

Through the seminar, hundreds of Vinh University students were updated with a lot of useful information about the development of Vietnam tourism in general, Nghe An tourism in particular; opportunities and challenges of tourism in the face of the 4.0 industrial revolution; start-up experience and job opportunities for tourism students after graduation...
Affirming that "tourism is the shortest way to promote local cultural identity" but starting a business in this field has never been easy, a leader of a tourism business participating in the discussion shared that young people should "take other people's failures as their own tuition".
Talking to young people about lessons learned in the process of starting a business, this business owner emphasized that to be successful, one must have passion, know how to seize opportunities, be patient and have high determination.
In particular, the commitment to directly recruit a female student who asked very frank questions to the company "heated up" the atmosphere of the discussion. This company also sent a message to recruit Vinh University students to work if they have the passion and determination to try their hand in this potential but also challenging field.

At the exchange night, the organizing committee awarded 100 million VND to two schools that suffered heavy damage in the recent floods, namely Nam Tip Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities and Muong Tip Kindergarten, Ky Son District. Representatives of the Department of Education and Training of Ky Son District also received 50 million VND from a tourism enterprise in the province to help overcome difficulties in schools and help teachers and students in the flood-affected areas quickly stabilize their facilities so they can confidently teach and study well.

Along with that, 50 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, were also awarded to 50 students of Vinh University who have difficult circumstances but have excelled in their studies. At the exchange night, many charitable organizations, businesses and individuals also directly donated a total of more than 320 million VND./.
