Urging Nam Dan to make every effort to reach the new rural district finish line

(Baonghean.vn) - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Viet Hong directed: There is not much time left in 2017, Nam Dan district is requested to focus resources on completing 3 groups of criteria for the new rural district and urge the remaining 5 communes to complete 19/19 criteria this October.

According to the report of Nam Dan District People's Committee, up to now, 5 communes of Nam Tan, Nam Phuc, Khanh Son, Nam Linh, Xuan Lam have basically met 19/19 criteria for building new rural areas. The District People's Committee is focusing on directing 3 communes: Nam Tan, Nam Phuc, Khanh Tan to complete documents and procedures to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for recognition and announcement of localities meeting new rural standards.

In the first 9 months of 2017, the whole district mobilized over 169 billion VND; of which people contributed over 34 billion VND, donated 15,897m2 of land, dismantled and moved 2,502m2 of fences, and contributed 6,986 working days to build new rural areas.

Regarding the task of building a new rural district in Nam Dan, after a period of focusing on directing the implementation of the groups of criteria for a new rural district according to Decision No. 558/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, up to now, Nam Dan has basically had 6/9 groups meeting the standards, including: Criteria for irrigation, environment, security, social order, production, electricity, and criteria for directing the construction of new rural areas. There are 3 groups of criteria that have not been met: Planning, Traffic and Culture - health - education.

In the spirit of determination to bring Nam Dan to the finish line of a new rural district in 2017, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Viet Hong requested: There is not much time left in 2017, departments and branches should actively coordinate and support Nam Dan district to soon complete the remaining 3 groups of criteria for a new rural district.

The district continues to promote propaganda to the people about the task of reaching the NTM district finish line in 2017.

The district needs to speed up the upgrading of routes with investment capital from the Central and Provincial Road Maintenance Fund: Route through Vac market, Nam Nam dike route, Nhat route to Nam Phuc, Nam Cuong, town route to Van Dien, Nam Thai...

Urgently coordinate with Vingroup to soon build the district's cultural and sports center to complete the Culture - Sports - Health criteria group.

For the 5 communes that have not reached the NTM target, the district is requested to continue urging the communes to complete 19/19 NTM criteria in October 2017, paying attention to the outstanding debt in NTM construction; continue to direct the 18 communes that have met the standards to improve the quality of the criteria.
