'Rapid response' team in Que Phong supports high school graduation exam season
(Baonghean.vn) - Having an "incident" during the high school graduation exam days is something no candidate wants. But thanks to the support of the "rapid response" forces, the candidates arrived at the exam site in time...
The Que Phong High School exam site on the first day of the exam had more than 400 candidates taking the exam. At nearly 7am, when all the candidates had entered the exam room to prepare for the Literature exam, two exam rooms announced that two candidates were not present, that was candidate Vi Thi Le Na, class 12A3 and candidate Ngan Van Huynh, class 12A6...

As a teacher at the school, upon receiving this information, teacher Ngo Chien Thang quickly checked the list of candidates to find their contact phone numbers and accommodation addresses. In the first call, both candidates Vi Thi Le Na and Ngan Van Huynh did not pick up the phone. The second call was similar. On the third call, the phone had to ring for quite a while before the other end heard the sleepy voice of the student.
Because it was close to the exam time, the teachers only had time to tell Na to quickly clean herself up. After the call, the teachers also hurriedly got in the car to go to the dormitory to take Na to school on time. When this candidate entered the exam room, it was only about 10 minutes before the exam time.

The second case of candidate Ngan Van Huynh was more difficult because Huynh did not answer all of his calls. Fortunately, before that, in addition to collecting the candidates' phone numbers, the school also had the phone numbers of the landlords, so they immediately called the landlords to wake the candidates. When they arrived and met Huynh, the student panicked and said: I live with my roommate and told him to wake me up if he had to take the exam. But he must have forgotten, so I was too tired and slept past the scheduled time. Huynh was also scared because when he had just sat down in the exam room, the drum sounded, signaling the opening of the exam.
The rapid response team to support the exam season at exam site No. 64 is the latest initiative of the teachers of Que Phong High School and the Que Phong District Police to promptly support the candidates when they encounter problems. To prepare for this activity, before the exam, the school compiled the entire list and phone numbers of candidates and the addresses of their rooms and phone numbers where they are staying. When receiving any unexpected situations, the team members will divide up to contact and find solutions to support the candidates.
Teacher Ngo Chien Thang –Que Phong High Schoolsaid: Que Phong High School has more than 400 candidates and about 80% of the students live in rented houses, far from their parents and have almost no one to take care of them. Therefore, despite frequent reminders, it is impossible to avoid cases that arise outside of incidents such as students falling asleep, forgetting the exam time or leaving their phones on silent mode and unable to be contacted. Fortunately, after the two incidents yesterday, the landlords also took action, woke up early this morning to wake the students up for the exam, so all candidates took the exam on time this morning.

Not only helping candidates during exam days, but over the past month, dozens of candidates have been given free accommodation at home by Mr. Thang and many other teachers at the school so that they can study with peace of mind. During exam days, in addition to supporting students at school with activities such as dividing the students and giving out free water, teachers also organize free meals for candidates in their rooms. This has also become a tradition at Que Phong High School and is a beautiful gesture to support and accompany the candidates in the highlands.
