Dialogue on Safe Labor and Anti-Human Trafficking Policy
(Baonghean.vn) - Legal procedures when marrying a foreigner; procedures for borrowing and conditions for loan debt cancellation to support foreign workers when facing risks; measures to protect yourself from being trafficked when going to work... were answered in the dialogue.
In order to improve knowledge about safe labor migration and prevention and suppression of human trafficking crimes, on March 12, the Women's Union of Quy Chau district in collaboration with the Belgian Development Agency and the Ralg project in Nghe An organized a dialogue on labor migration policy and prevention of human trafficking in Chau Binh commune (Quy Chau).

In addition, legal procedures when marrying a foreigner, support for victims of human trafficking and risks during and after the labor process, measures to protect oneself from being trafficked when going to work... were also raised by the women at the dialogue.

At the dialogue, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs encouraged those who need labor, however, when preparing labor export documents, to approach a reliable recruitment place, licensed by the local government to recruit labor in Quy Chau.
Regarding loans for labor export at the Policy Bank, the Bank representative stated that labor exporters must have a certificate from the Commune People's Committee on legal residence in the locality, and a contract signed between the worker and the service enterprise or career organization sending workers to work abroad under contract.
Representatives of the District Police also answered questions and provided guidance when they or their relatives are victims of human trafficking...

The knowledge gained from the dialogue helped members of the Chau Binh Women’s Union gain more understanding to avoid risks when working abroad. At the same time, they were able to improve their knowledge to avoid becoming victims of human trafficking./.
