Nam Can International Border Gate Border Guard Station discovered 2 Lao people entering the country illegally.

Through patrolling, controlling, and preventing Covid-19, the Border Guard Station of Nam Can International Border Gate (Nghe An Border Guard) discovered 2 Lao nationals illegally entering Vietnam.

On July 28, at the border section between checkpoints 1 and 2 in Tien Tieu village, Nam Can commune (Ky Son), the unit's task force discovered 2 subjects illegally entering the country across the border.

The subjects include: Xai Chu Ha (born in 1988) and Xo Ha (born in 1998), Lao nationality, both residing in Nam Thi village, Kham Cot district, Bolikhamxay province (Laos). Through initial verification, both subjects stated that they were on their way to cross the border into Vietnam through the above border when the Covid-19 prevention and control checkpoint of the Nam Can International Border Gate Border Guard Station discovered and arrested them.

The unit has organized body temperature measurement, disinfection of rooms and prevention of Covid-19 epidemic according to regulations; Conducted investigation, verification, made records of administrative violations and handed over and returned the subjects to Police Station 31 (Laos) for further handling./.
