Cua Lo Port Border Post strengthens security for election work

(Baonghean.vn) - In preparation for the election, the Border Guard Station of Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port deployed many solutions, coordinating with the government and people.ensure good security in the area.

Officers of Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port Border Post directly propagate on fishing boats about the obligations and rights when participating in the election.

The station has coordinated with local authorities and Party committees to do a good job of disseminating information to the people about the purpose and meaning of the election, especially to offshore fishermen who were present in the locality on election day to participate in voting, ensuring their civil rights.

The unit's staff were assigned to 14 wards and communes to coordinate with local organizations to directly visit offshore fishing boats anchored at the port to disseminate the Election Law, contents related to the election, and the responsibilities and obligations of voters in participating in the election.

At Cua Lo Port area, the port border station and the procedure team are assigned to directly propagate to boats about contents related to the election of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels. For voters present in the area on election day, the station staff will guide them to vote at polling station No. 1 in Nghi Thuy ward (Cua Lo town).

The team conducts propaganda for crew members on cargo ships.
