With the mobilization, propaganda and leadership of the party members in the Lang Dien General Committee, the revolutionary movement of the people of Tao Dien commune during this period had new changes. On March 13, 1930, comrade Dao Van Nguoi and a large number of Lang Dien people participated in distributing leaflets to protest the French colonialists who had executed two cadres of the Nghe An Farmers' Association, Nguyen Duu and Phan Hoang Than.

Then, continuous mass struggles took place vigorously, such as the demonstration on June 1, 1930, and on September 8, 1930 at Con Doi field. The demonstration marched forward and shouted the slogan "Down with the colonial regime"... causing confusion and fear among the enemies.

In September 1930, comrade Dao Van Nguoi was admitted to the Luong Dien Party cell [1] with comrade Hoang Van Bat as Secretary. Assigned by the Party cell, he enthusiastically participated in the work of mobilizing, organizing and building printing facilities, printing Party propaganda documents, distributing them to the masses, contributing to raising the people's understanding and awakening to the revolutionary spirit.

In addition, comrade Dao Van Nguoi also took on the role of being in charge of the 15-member Cao Dien Red Self-Defense Team, tasked with protecting the Party Cell, maintaining public order, and suppressing reactionary elements against the revolution. To counter the people's fighting spirit, the French colonialists mobilized soldiers to arrest Dao Van Nguoi and take him to Phuc Yen station for interrogation. Here, they used all forms of brutal beatings, torture, and restraint, combined with bribery and enticement, but they could not shake the steadfast, indomitable will of the staunch communist soldier, and were forced to release him.

Fearing the wave of struggle of the masses, the French colonialists carried out a brutal policy of terror, causing many losses to the Party and the revolutionary movement of the masses. Many rallies and demonstrations of the masses were brutally massacred, and many party cadres and members were arrested. By the end of June 1931, comrade Dao Van Nguoi was imprisoned for 2 years (from June 1931 to June 1933) at Thinh Duc prison. After his prison term ended, he returned to his hometown and participated in a garment organization.

In February 1945, comrade Le Dinh Ba - a Viet Minh cadre in Anh Son district, went to Tao Dien commune to meet comrade Dao Van Nguoi to discuss plans to build the movement. In June 1945, the Party cell decided to establish an armed Self-Defense Force to prepare forces to seize power. The number of self-defense forces in Tao Dien commune was up to 30 people. Comrade Dao Van Nguoi, a party member, went to train tactics for the Self-Defense Force and cooperated with the Youth, Farmers, Women's Associations... to continue to carry out demonstrations.

On the afternoon of August 23, 1945, the Hung Nguyen Party Cell met (2), assessed the situation and passed a resolution to establish an Uprising Committee, comrade Dao Van Nguoi was elected as a member, in charge of Self-Defense. The Party Cell also appointed a Provisional Revolutionary Committee of Tao Dien commune consisting of 5 comrades, of which Dao Van Nguoi was a Military Commissioner.

At exactly 9:00 a.m. on August 25, 1945, implementing the plan of the Uprising Committee and the Viet Minh Mobilization Committee of Tao Dien commune, people from all villages, hamlets, and alleys gathered at the communal house to participate in the rally. Comrade Dao Van Nguoi was introduced by the Uprising Committee to stand up and give a speech. At the end of the rally, comrade Dao Van Nguoi led the armed self-defense team to the houses of the village chief, deputy chief, and five-village chief to confiscate stamps, books, and documents and hand them over to the Provisional Revolutionary Committee. After that, he was introduced to the Provisional Revolutionary Committee of Tao Dien commune.

With his prestige and great contributions to the local revolutionary movement, from February 1946 to November 1946, comrade Dao Van Nguoi was elected as Secretary of the Tao Dien Party Cell. He devoted all his efforts, talent and intelligence to the glorious revolutionary cause of our Party and People. His name and career are closely associated with the stages of the Vietnamese revolution, closely associated with the great revolutionary achievements of the nation. Comrade Dao Van Nguoi was recognized by the Party and the State as one of the 15 veteran revolutionary cadres of Tao Son commune (3).
