(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of November 16, Tan Tien block, Le Mao ward (Vinh city) organized a celebration of the 86th anniversary of the founding of the National United Front and the National Great Unity Day.

Attending and sharing the joy with the cadres and people of Tan Tien block were comrades Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Kim Loc - Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Council. The block's executive committee created conditions for people to borrow capital from banks; promoted the savings and credit fund of the Women's Union to lend to women to do business.

Thanks to that, the people's lives in the block have been increasingly improved. In addition, people in the block have also promoted the spirit of solidarity to build a cultural life, civilized urban lifestyle, and preserve a clean and beautiful environment. The rate of families achieving cultural titles is 96%; there are 6 alleys meeting civilized standards; the block continues to maintain its cultural title.

During the year, 30 people with meritorious services were given gifts worth 7 million VND; people were mobilized to support the humanitarian charity fund with over 25 million VND.
