Comrade Truong Thi Mai holds the position of Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission.

On the morning of February 17, the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization held a Conference to implement the Politburo's Decision on assigning Comrade Truong Thi Mai - Politburo member to hold the position of Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization.

Comrades: Dinh The Huynh, Politburo member, Standing member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat; Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Politburo member, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly; Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission; Ha Thi Khiet, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission, 11th tenure attended the Conference.

Head of the Central Organizing Committee Pham Minh Chinh read the Politburo's Decision assigning comrade Truong Thi Mai, Politburo member, to hold the position of Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Committee.

Comrade Dinh The Huynh presented the Decision and congratulated comrade Truong Thi Mai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, who was trusted by the Politburo to be assigned to hold the position of Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission.

Comrade Dinh The Huynh emphasized: Comrade Truong Thi Mai is a capable and experienced female leader, who has held the positions of Secretary, Permanent Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Youth Union, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture, Education, Youth, Adolescents and Children, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Social Affairs.

She is a member of the Party Central Committee of the 10th, 11th and 12th tenures. Recently, she was elected to the Politburo by the Party Central Committee of the 12th tenure. The Politburo discussed and carefully considered many aspects and decided to assign her to the position of Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission.

On behalf of the Politburo, comrade Dinh The Huynh expressed his belief that comrade Truong Thi Mai will continue to promote her capacity, experience, dynamism and creativity to join the leaders of the Committee, the collective of cadres, party members and civil servants of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization and the mass mobilization sector nationwide to successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Party, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress.

In her acceptance speech, comrade Truong Thi Mai respectfully thanked the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat of the 11th and 12th tenures for always caring for, nurturing, and creating conditions for the next generations in the Party's revolutionary cause.

Comrade Truong Thi Mai expressed her deep gratitude to generations of leaders of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization through different periods for building a theoretical foundation associated with practice for the Party's mass mobilization work, contributing to building the political system, consolidating the great national unity bloc, advising and proposing major policies, strategies and solutions on mass mobilization work, making worthy contributions to the Party's revolutionary cause.

Comrade Truong Thi Mai affirmed that she will always remember the words of President Ho Chi Minh dedicated to those working in mass mobilization; together with the collective leadership of the Committee, the team of cadres working in mass mobilization will always be united, unanimous, and make continuous efforts to effectively carry out assigned tasks, contributing to the implementation of the goals set out by the 12th Congress.
