Comrade Vo Van Thuong visited the model of grassroots culture associated with advanced and exemplary new rural areas in Nam Dan
(Baonghean.vn) - This is an activity held right after the Ceremony to announce and deploy the 2022 working theme of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector "Building a grassroots cultural environment and personnel work", organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism at the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site.
On the morning of March 14, Comrade Vo Van Thuong - Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, together with the delegation of the Central Committee, Nghe An province and other provinces and cities, visited and exchanged on the model of building a grassroots cultural life associated with advanced new rural areas (NTM) and model NTM in Nam Dan.
Also attending were comrades: Nguyen Van Hung - Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; the Ministry's working delegation and leaders of several provinces.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and other provincial leaders.

The delegates visited Hamlet 6, Nam Giang Commune, Nam Dan District, Nghe An - one of the model hamlets for building a new rural area in Nam Giang Commune. This is the commune that reached the new rural area target in 2014, advanced rural area target in 2021 and is determined to successfully build a new rural area model this year.
At the cultural house of hamlet 6, comrade Vo Van Thuong and leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Nghe An province and provinces and cities across the country listened to reports on the results of the work of building cultural life associated with building model new rural areas in the direction of developing culture associated with tourism in Nam Dan district.

After 7 years of implementation, with the support of the Central Government, the province and the efforts, determination and creativity of the Party Committee, the government and all classes of people in the district, Nam Dan has completed the criteria and been recognized as a district meeting the NTM standards in Decision No. 520/QD-TTg dated May 11, 2018 of the Prime Minister.
After that, the Prime Minister approved the implementation of the pilot project "Building Nam Dan district to become a model new rural district in the direction of developing culture associated with tourism, period 2018 - 2025".

With many appropriate solutions and steps, the district has focused on investing to promote the advantages of 173 relics, 3 special national relics for cultural and tourism development; arousing pride in the traditions and cultural identity of Nam Dan people.
The appearance of the new rural areas in residential areas is increasingly improving, the cultural and spiritual life of the people is being raised, creating the position and strength for Nam Dan to soon realize the goal of becoming a model new rural district of the whole country, worthy of the trust and love of the Party, the Government and the people and comrades nationwide towards the homeland of beloved President Ho Chi Minh.

Nam Dan district has successfully built 2 typical cultural village models at the provincial level; 35 cultural houses - sports areas in hamlets and blocks according to model criteria; 19/19 communes and towns have established Vi and Giam folk song clubs; 100% of hamlets and blocks have art troupes or art clubs that regularly practice and exchange activities.
In the coming time, Nam Dan is determined to continue to focus on leadership, direction and devote many resources to investing in culture, especially implementing the Project to build a civilized, polite, affectionate, friendly and hospitable Nam Dan culture;...
