Simultaneous arrest of drug gangs in Quy Hop

Specifically, at 8:30 a.m. on June 15, 2022, Quy Hop District Police and the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (Provincial Police) co-chaired and coordinated with the Mobile Police Department to successfully discover a special case, simultaneously launching an operation to arrest 08 cases and 09 subjects for the act of "Illegal trading and possession of drugs". Thereby eliminating 01 complicated point and 07 drug retail points in Quy Hop town, Quy Hop district.

Seized evidence: 1/2 heroin cake weighing 170g, 10g ketamine, 01 electronic scale, 02 motorbikes, 12 cell phones, 02 swords and 100 million VND in cash.

The arrested subjects all reside in Quy Hop district, including: Hoang Minh Phuong, born in 1977; Nguyen Thi Chau, born in 1980; Ho Minh Tuan, born in 1979, Nguyen Huu Giap, born in 1984; Nguyen The Hien, born in 1986; Nguyen Dinh Tuan, born in 1999, all residing in Quy Hop town; Chu Van Linh, born in 1974, residing in My Tan hamlet, Chau Dinh commune; Hoang Van Van, born in 1956, residing in Na An hamlet, Chau Thanh commune; Vi Minh Duc, born in 2000, residing in Khot Xai village, Lien Hop commune.

Among the arrested subjects, Nguyen Thi Chau is the subject who specializes in supplying drugs to the remaining subjects for use and retail sale. During the search of Nguyen Thi Chau's residence, the police force seized 170 grams of heroin.

To successfully discover this case, Nghe An Provincial Police mobilized dozens of officers and soldiers from many forces to participate, including using police dogs to serve the search and collection of evidence. This case has eliminated 01 complex drug point in the Methadone treatment area for drug addicts in Block 4, Quy Hop town.
