The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) said the Indian team will still go to Vietnam to participate in a friendly tournament taking place from September 21 to 27 in Ho Chi Minh City as planned.

It is expected that the Vietnamese team will have two matches with Singapore on September 21 and with India on September 27, with the India-Singapore match in between on September 24. The three teams will play a round robin to determine the rankings.

The tournament is an important match between the Vietnamese team and guest Singapore before the AFF Cup 2022.

Previously, AIFF was suspended indefinitely due to third party interference in its operations, seriously violating FIFA regulations.

Why did Coach Park not attend the AFF Cup 2022 draw ceremony?
