(Baonghean.vn) - Stopping a passenger bus from Hanoi to Quang Binh for inspection at night, the traffic police discovered 27 kg of foreign-made fireworks in the trunk.

At around 1:00 a.m. on December 19, while patrolling and controlling National Highway 1, through Quynh Giang Commune, Quynh Luu District (Nghe An), the working group of Traffic Police Station 5/1 inspected passenger bus with license plate 73B - 00402 driven by driver Tran Anh Vu (born in 1977, residing in Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh).

Upon inspection, the working group discovered in the truck's trunk a cardboard box containing 18 firecrackers, 26 pieces/cake, foreign-made, weighing 27 kg.

At the time of inspection, driver Vu said that the above goods were hired by the busboy Duong Van Sau (residing in Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province) to transport for a stranger in Hanoi to Quang Binh to collect fare.

The working group has drawn up a record of confiscation of the above fireworks and handed them over to Quynh Luu District Police for handling according to regulations.
