Nearly 40% of Nghe An candidates registered to change their wishes
(Baonghean.vn) - Although it is the last day for candidates to change their university admission wishes via the online system, many candidates are still making adjustments.
According to the synthesis at the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, by the afternoon of July 21, 8,269 wishes/20,262 candidates had been changed. Of which, 7,359 wishes were changed online by candidates. The remaining 900 wishes, candidates came to adjust at the reception point.
Through monitoring, although the number of candidates registering to change their wishes accounted for nearly 40%, the change was quite smooth, without any network congestion. At the reception points, the Department of Education and Training also requested schools to send staff to directly guide and advise students.

As for universities in the province, the number of applications to enroll in schools has also changed to this day.
Specifically, at Vinh University, the number of candidates changing NV1 on the system has increased from 3,000 to 4,000 applications. In addition, there are nearly 1,000 applications for admission based on academic records. A representative of Vinh University said that this year, the Preschool major is still the major with the largest number of applications with over 800 applications for aptitude tests. However, the quota for the Preschool major is only 120 candidates. In addition, majors such as Accounting, Primary, Law... have a fairly high number of candidates applying to the school.
In addition, some schools such as Vinh University of Technical Education and Nghe An University of Economics still have a lot of quotas. Therefore, candidates still have many opportunities to register for study with many forms of admission through the results of the 2017 National High School Exam and admission by academic records.
According to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, by the end of today, candidates are no longer allowed to change their university admission wishes through the online system. From July 22 to July 23, candidates can adjust their university admission wishes by filling out forms at registration reception points.
In 2017, the admission regulations also only allow candidates to adjust their application for admission to schools once. Therefore, in the process of changing their wishes, if candidates make mistakes or errors, they must take responsibility.
At this time, the Department of Education and Training is also organizing re-scoring for candidates and it is expected that by July 24 at the latest, the candidates' new scores will be updated to the enrollment software system.
