Coffee prices in the domestic market in Vietnam have increased by 9-10% since the beginning of the year and by nearly 65% compared to the same period last year.

It is currently the dry season in Vietnam, the fifth month of the 2025/2026 coffee crop year, with key coffee districts in Vietnam’s central highlands experiencing seasonally drier weather, but the Central Highlands region has seen an unexpected bout of unseasonal rain over the past week which, according to many experienced farmers, could damage the first flowering for the region.

World coffee prices today

Coffee prices on the world market also fluctuate:

Robusta Coffee (London):

Delivery in March 2025: Down 2 USD/ton, to 5,733 USD/ton.

Delivery in May 2025: Up 2 USD/ton, to 5,728 USD/ton.

Arabica Coffee (New York):

March 2025 delivery: Down 19.15 cents/lb, to 419.75 cents/lb.

May 2025 delivery: Down 17.7 cents/lb, to 407.4 cents/lb.

Arabica coffee prices have been dragged down by long liquidation after a month-long rally, but prices are still supported by concerns about supply that are not yet fully offset.

After a brief build in ICE inventories, robusta inventories have since fallen back to a six-week low of 4,332 lots, while arabica inventories have also fallen back to a three-and-a-half month low of 849,935 bags on Thursday.

According to a Reuters survey, world coffee prices are entering a correction phase after continuously reaching new peaks in recent times. Profit-taking by investors and improved supply prospects are putting pressure on the market. However, low inventories are still a factor supporting coffee prices to remain high.
