Family of 3 generations of beggars receives house of gratitude
(Baonghean.vn) - From the article "Family background of a household with 3 generations of "beggar profession" published in Nghe An newspaper, on October 28, Vietnam Roofing Association, Tam Long Viet Fund - Vietnam Television, Long Son Cement Company cooperated with Nghe An Provincial Youth Union to build a house of gratitude for Mr. Nguyen Duc Hoa in Nghi Van commune (Nghi Loc).
Basecharity houseThe house has just been handed over with an area of 76 m2, fully equipped with bedrooms, living room, kitchen, and private bathroom with a total construction cost of more than 240 million VND. In which, the Vietnam Roofing Association and the Tam Long Viet Fund - Vietnam Television are the main sponsors with an investment of 160 million VND.

Nghe An Provincial Youth Unionalso cooperated with Long Son Cement Company to sponsor 50 million VND. In addition, local authorities and other social resources sponsored more than 30 million VND.

Mr. Hoa is a poor household, life is extremely difficult. His whole family has been beggars for 3 generations in the local markets. His wife was paralyzed and died early, he had a stroke and could not move like before.
Mr. Hoa's younger sister, Nguyen Thi Van (born in 1974), is mentally disabled and has an illegitimate child, Nguyen Huy Cuong (born in 2007). Due to his mental disability, the mother and son have to beg to support their brother and live in a seriously degraded house that is about to collapse, left by their parents.
