Today, the price of live pigs in the North increased slightly by 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating from 61,000 to 64,000 VND/kg.
Traders in Bac Giang and Hanoi are buying live pigs at 64,000 VND/kg, the highest price in the region, equivalent to prices in Thai Binh, Hung Yen and Hai Duong.
In Ha Nam and Phu Tho, the purchase price is 63,000 VND/kg, equal to Thai Nguyen.
On the contrary, Lao Cai and Ninh Binh have the lowest purchase price, only 61,000 VND/kg.
Other localities recorded live pig prices at 62,000 VND/kg.
Pig price in Central Highlands region
Pig prices in this area remained stable compared to yesterday, ranging from 58,000 to 61,000 VND/kg.
Traders in Thanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh and Binh Thuan are purchasing live pigs at 61,000 VND/kg, the highest price in the region.
Dak Lak has the lowest purchase price, only 58,000 VND/kg.
The remaining localities have prices from 59,000 to 60,000 VND/kg.

Pig prices in the South today remain unchanged, still ranging from 59,000 to 62,000 VND/kg.
Traders in Can Tho, Dong Thap and Soc Trang are buying pigs at 62,000 VND/kg, the highest price in the region.
Ben Tre has the lowest purchase price, only 59,000 VND/kg.
Other localities recorded prices from 60,000 to 61,000 VND/kg.
In general, pig prices are gradually recovering in the North, with nationwide transaction prices ranging from VND58,000 to VND64,000/kg.
