Pepper price today September 5, 2025: Decreased after many strong increases
Pepper price today, September 5, is at 151,000 - 153,000 VND/kg, a decrease after many strong increases. This adjustment is due to traders deciding to sell to take profit.
Domestic pepper price

In addition, today's pepper price in Dong Nai (formerly Binh Phuoc) decreased by 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 152,000 VND/kg.

After a series of consecutive days of price increases, domestic pepper prices have begun to decrease. This adjustment is not considered too surprising by experts.
The main reason is that short-term supply has improved, as many traders decided to sell to lock in profits. In addition, purchasing power from export enterprises has also slowed down after having stocked up enough goods.
Despite a slight decrease, the current price is still maintained at a high level compared to the same period last year, showing that the market trend is still quite positive. With an average pepper price of over 152,000 VND/kg, pepper growers are still making stable profits, a positive sign after many years of low prices.
However, fluctuations in the world market will continue to have a strong impact on domestic prices. In particular, import demand from two key markets, China and the US, will be the key factor determining pepper price movements in the coming time.
In the short term, pepper prices are forecast to fluctuate between 152,000 - 153,000 VND/kg. This price depends largely on the purchasing activities of businesses and the actual supply from farmers.
This adjustment is actually considered a healthy sign, helping the market regain balance and prepare for a vibrant trading period at the end of the year.
