World gold price today October 2, 2025 and world gold price fluctuation chart in the past 24 hours
According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 4:30 p.m. on October 2, Vietnam time, was 3,874.16 USD/ounce. Today's gold price decreased by 16.26 USD/ounce compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank (26,435 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 123.4 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the gold bar price is 14.6 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.
Domestic gold prices continue to rise to new highs. At small gold shops in Ho Chi Minh City, SJC gold bar prices are listed at 141.5 - 143.5 million VND/tael for buying and selling. An increase of 500 thousand VND/tael in both afternoons compared to yesterday.
This is considered the highest price ever in Vietnam. At the same time, the price of gold at these small stores is also about 5.5 million VND/tael higher than the selling price at large gold companies.
Meanwhile, gold rings and jewelry gold with 99.99% purity also continued to increase in price, setting a new high. The price was traded around 131.5 - 134.2 million VND/tael for buying and selling, a slight increase of 100 thousand VND/tael.
Asia Commercial Bank (ACB) is the first bank to officially launch its own gold bar brand, marking the re-launch of the gold trading segment from October 10. The bank has just announced the terms and conditions for gold bar trading, effective from the above date.
According to the plan, ACB will start trading gold bars at some branches in the near future. The types of gold traded include ACB brand gold bars, SJC gold bars and other types of gold bars as prescribed by the bank and can be updated in each phase.
Specifically, for SJC gold bars, branches only trade in one tael. As for ACB brand gold bars, the bank will trade all weights.
Customers will pay in VND through their ACB account. Payment and delivery of gold will be made on the same day or within two working days at the latest.
