(Baonghean.vn) - The key members of the Vietnam Football Fans Association (VFS) surprised everyone when they announced that they would not organize a cheering event for coach Nguyen Huu Thang and his team in the match against the DPRK team at Thong Nhat Stadium this afternoon because the ticket prices were too high.

Cong Vinh, Cong Phuong and teammates in the Vietnam National Team will play a friendly match with the DPRK National Team without the bustling sounds from the Vietnam Fans Club - VFS.

Yesterday (October 5) on Facebook, a key member of the Vietnam Football Fans Association (VFS) expressed his opinion: "The sudden increase in ticket prices has caused many fans to not have enough money to buy tickets to cheer for the match on the afternoon of October 6 at Thong Nhat Stadium. VFS will be divided into two directions, a large number of VFS fans will watch on the small screen, the rest will go to the stadium to watch the match without cheering."

After that, on the Fanpage of the Vietnam Football Fans Association, there was an announcement about the organization of watching the friendly match of coach Nguyen Huu Thang and his team at a cafe. The participants were members who could not afford to buy tickets to the stadium. All of these actions were in response to the Organizing Committee issuing tickets at quite "expensive" prices of 100,000, 150,000 and 200,000 VND, depending on the seat position.

The above actions of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFS) have received many mixed opinions and are not highly unanimous. According to many other members, the increase in ticket prices is a good sign because it means the value and attraction of the match.

At this time, Coach Nguyen Huu Thang and his team are in dire need of the attention and support of fans before the upcoming AFF Cup 2016 campaign. Therefore, many fans not coming to Thong Nhat Stadium to support the team is truly a regrettable act.
