Teacher reversed car in school yard and ran over and killed a first grader
A teacher at Van Ho Primary School (Son La) carelessly backed his car into two students in the school yard, causing a first-grade student to die on the spot.
According to initial information, the incident occurred this morning at Van Ho Primary School (Van Ho commune, Van Ho district, Son La province) causing the death of a first grade student and injury to another student.

The leader of the Van Ho District Traffic Police Team confirmed to the press that the unfortunate incident occurred at Van Ho Primary School on the morning of April 19.
“A school teacher reversed his car in the school yard and ran over two students. As a result, one student died and another was injured and had to be hospitalized,” said the leader of the Traffic Police Team.

Mr. Pham Thanh Hai, Head of the Department of Education of Van Ho district, also confirmed that there was a case where a teacher of Van Ho Primary School reversed his car, causing two students to be injured.
"A first grader died on the spot, another student was injured and taken to the hospital for emergency treatment," said Mr. Hai.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
