In the middle of a rainy night, youth volunteers help rescue victims
(Baonghean.vn) - In the middle of the night, during a raging storm, a youth volunteer team actively assisted in rescuing people in distress on the road. That was a touching story that happened on the night of July 16 in Thanh Chuong district (Nghe An).
At 10:30 p.m. on July 16, on the way home, due to heavy rain and slippery roads, Mr. Nguyen Quang Son (44 years old) in Thanh Xuan commune, Thanh Chuong district was driving a motorbike and had a traffic accident on Ho Chi Minh road at Quan Danh slope, hamlet 3, Thanh Thuy commune.

Upon receiving the information, despite the heavy rain, the Thanh Thuy Commune Youth Union's Traffic Accident and Injury First Aid Team quickly arrived to help the victims.
At the scene, next to the damaged motorbike in the middle of the road, Mr. Nguyen Quang Son lay unconscious in the pouring rain. The volunteer team coordinated and supported the transport of the victim to the commune health station for first aid. Next, the victim was transferred to Nghe An General Hospital for treatment due to severe trauma and a broken jaw.
The Thanh Thuy Commune Youth Union's Traffic Accident and Injury Emergency Team has been established for several months now. The team consists of 13 enthusiastic young people, some of whom have medical expertise, ready to be present 24/7, in all weather conditions, to help victims in the area.
