Amid Covid-19 pandemic, group of young people gathered to use drugs in rented rooms
(Baonghean.vn) - During the period of limiting contact and gatherings due to the Covid-19 epidemic, a group of teenagers residing in Anh Son district still gathered to buy, sell, and illegally use drugs in their rented rooms.
On April 7, Anh Son District Police said they were temporarily detaining a group of teenagers who gathered to buy, sell, and illegally use drugs at a rented room in Hoi Son Commune.

Previously, through screening, the Hoi Son Commune Police Department found that at the rented room in Hamlet 06, Hoi Son Commune, rented by Phan Van Kien, born in 1994 (permanent residence in Tra Lan Hamlet, Phuc Son Commune), many young people gathered with many suspicious activities. Faced with that situation, the Hoi Son Commune Police Department made a plan to investigate and clarify.
At around 10:00 a.m. on April 4, 2020, the police force raided Phan Van Kien's rented room for a surprise inspection. Thereby, they discovered that Pham Van Cam, born in 1991; Nguyen Ba Nguyen, born in 1994, both residing in Hoi Son commune, were illegally using drugs with Pham Van Kien.

At the scene, the police seized 37 ecstasy pills; 1 drug kit; 1 homemade sword; 1 homemade gun; 1 spear; 1 military gun with 5 bullets in the magazine; 1 iron rod.
Expanding the investigation, at 12:30 p.m. the same day, the police continued to arrest Nguyen Van Nam and To Gia Nhat, both born in 2003, both residing in Hoa Son commune, Anh Son district, and Luu Thi Huyen, born in 1996, residing in Hoi Son commune, Anh Son district. They seized an additional 51 pink pills.
At the investigation agency, these subjects confessed to buying drugs from Kien to both use and resell for profit.
Currently, Anh Son District Police are completing the case file to prosecute the case.
