Knocked on car door, robbed bag of hundreds of millions in cash on passenger seat

Quang Tri town police, Quang Tri province are continuing to investigate and search for the perpetrator who committed a daring robbery worth hundreds of millions of dong in broad daylight, right in front of the victim's house.

On the afternoon of January 15, Mr. Nguyen Huu D. (residing in Quarter 4, Ward 1, Quang Tri Town) reported to the police that he had just been robbed of money.

According to Mr. D., at around 3:30 p.m. the same day, he went to the bank to withdraw 250 million VND and bring it home. But when he drove his car with license plate 74A-030.84 and the money to the gate, a young man approached and knocked on the car door.

Mr. D. stopped the car, opened the left door, then suddenly the young man above jerked open the right door, grabbed the bag of money on the passenger seat, then got on the motorbike and ran away.

At the time of the incident, there were some workers working near the scene, but no one caught up with the perpetrator.

After the incident, Quang Tri town police were present at the scene to investigate the case and search for the suspect who committed the robbery.
