(Baonghean.vn) - Nearly 1 ton of expired candy was collected by the owner of the facility, stamped and printed with a new production date and expiration date, and prepared to be sold on the market when it was discovered and confiscated by the Economic Police.
At 10:00 a.m. on December 24, 2020, the Economic Police Team (Vinh City Police) coordinated with Cua Nam Ward Police to conduct an inspection at the private home of Mr. Nguyen Duc Tung (born in 1978), residing in Cua Nam Ward, Vinh City, and discovered nearly 1 ton of expired candy.

The leader of the Economic Police Team said that these candies will be relabeled, "extending" their shelf life from 6 months to 1 year.
Currently, Vinh City Police are temporarily detaining the above shipment and continuing to handle it according to regulations.
