Hanoi has an additional walking street, Nguyen Quy Duc.

The street will have mobile stalls and supporting infrastructure to serve residents and tourists.

On August 2, Vice Chairman of Thanh Xuan District People's Committee Dang Hong Thai said that the district is building a pedestrian street combined with night trade and services on Nguyen Quy Duc Street in Thanh Xuan Bac Ward and has been approved by the Hanoi People's Committee.

Thanh Xuan Bac Ward People's Committee has begun to renovate and refurbish all architectural works and infrastructure on both sides of this street, combined with upgrading neighboring public works, creating a recreational and cultural space for visitors.

Dao Duy Tu Street is clear during walking hours, from 7pm to midnight.

It is expected that in the first quarter of 2017, Nguyen Quy Duc walking street will be put into operation. This will be the place to organize street festivals, flower streets, cultural and sports exhibitions, art performances, contributing to the effective management of commercial activities on the street, thereby improving service quality and increasing budget revenue for the district.

Nguyen Quy Duc Street connects Nguyen Trai Street to the side gate of Me Tri dormitory, about 500 meters long. This street is not only known as the "shoe and sandal" street but is also considered a miniature culinary street of Hanoi.
