Hanoi ranked 8th in the list of top 10 most attractive tourist destinations in the world in 2016 announced by TripAdvisor.

According to the list published by TripAdvisor on March 21, Hanoi is among the 10 most attractive tourist destinations in the world in 2016. However, the capital of Vietnam has dropped 4 places compared to 2015, ranking 8th in the category of Favorite Tourist Destinations voted by readers of this site.

Every year, TripAdvisor ranks cities around the world based on more than 1 million traveler reviews over a 12-month period. "The Travelers' Favorite Destinations category celebrates the places that readers have voted for the most based on reviews, bookings and comments on the site," said Barbara Messing, chief marketing officer at the travel consultancy.
