Late two nights ago, a special patrol detective discovered Tu, a suspect in the robbery case, so they stopped his car, checked him, and took him to Pham Ngu Lao Ward Police Station (District 1) for questioning.
Here, Tu admitted that he and Hao committed the robbery in the early morning of March 26. They rode a motorbike, approached the man at the Phu Dong intersection (District 1) and snatched his handbag containing an iPhoneX, 6 million VND, 2,000 USD and a Vertu.
Because the branded phone was worth about 9,000 USD, the two took it to the store to sell for 500,000 VND.
From Tu's statement, the police arrested Hao on Tran Hung Dao street; at the same time, they recovered the evidence of the robbery.
