Police said that on May 19, a subject ran into an aluminum and glass store on National Highway 1A in An Binh Ward. Here, after taking the property of the store owner, the subject ran out onto the street, climbed onto the motorbike of another subject who was waiting, and then both fled.

At that time, Ms. Ng.TKH (33 years old, from Thanh Hoa, shop owner) tried to run after the robber, grabbed the shirt of the person sitting behind and pulled him back, not letting go of the robber even though the motorbike was running at high speed. The victim was dragged on the road for hundreds of meters by the robber.
Many passersby did not understand what was happening so they just stopped and watched. The girl was only rescued when she was dragged to a building materials store where three men chased after the robber.
The entire incident was recorded by the camera of the car following behind and was transferred to the police for investigation. An Binh Ward Police said that after the incident, the victim did not report to the authorities. However, after learning about the incident, the ward police came to verify and reported to Di An Town Police to arrest the subject.

According to the investigation, on May 19, two young men came to the aluminum and glass store, after taking a cutting machine and a drill, they immediately got on a motorbike and escaped. The victim discovered them and chased them. Witnesses said they admired the girl for risking her life to hold on to the robber and not let go, despite the danger to her life.
