South Korea sponsors peanut tillage machines for Nghe An farmers
(Baonghean.vn) - The project to develop new rural areas through establishing a peanut seed production and distribution system in Vietnam, funded by the Korean Government with a budget of 1.5 million USD, is being implemented in the three districts of Dien Chau, Nghi Loc and Nam Dan.
Accordingly, participating households in the project will be transferred advanced peanut seed production and distribution methods, and supported with peanut production technology, mechanization in planting, harvesting, and post-harvest peanut preservation.

Nghi Long Commune (Nghi Loc) was selected as a locality to participate in the project of Nghi Loc district with a peanut production area of more than 6 hectares. The donation of peanut tillage machines is a step to help people mechanize their cultivation, which the Korean Government has committed to support.
This time, the North Central Institute of Science and Technology also awarded two earthmoving machines sponsored by the Korean Government to Dien Thinh commune (Dien Chau) and Nam Loc commune (Nam Dan).
