Dozens of thugs broke into people's houses at midnight.

As Mr. Dung's family was preparing to go to bed, a group of nearly 20 people carrying weapons broke into the house, destroying property and beating people.

On June 10, Trung Van Ward Police said they were coordinating with Nam Tu Liem District Police (Hanoi) to investigate and clarify the case of a group of people using weapons to break into the private house of Mr. Tran Van Dung (Trung Van Ward) and slash him, injuring him.

According to initial information, at more than 11 pm on June 9, when Mr. Dung and his family were preparing to go to bed, a group of nearly 20 people carrying weapons such as knives, iron pipes, sticks... smashed the door outside the house. This group used bricks and weapons to break the glass door and then rushed inside the house, destroying many of Mr. Dung's family's properties such as televisions, motorbikes, tables and chairs.

During the process of destroying the property, the group also seriously injured Mr. Dung in the shoulder, forcing his relatives to run out the back door to escape. The homeowner reported the incident to the Trung Van Ward police station and went to Hospital 103 to treat his injuries.

Initially, Mr. Dung said that the group of strangers had smashed and damaged all the glass doors, TV, motorbike, tables and chairs and many other properties inside his house. Mr. Tran Van Dung's family added that while the group of thugs broke into the house and then left, his family lost a handbag containing 5 million VND in cash.

According to the homeowner, on the night of June 9, he had a conflict with a man in Ha Dong district, but then everyone went home, and late at night, a group of people came to Mr. Dung's house to vandalize it. Upon receiving information about the incident, Trung Van ward police went to the scene to investigate and clarify the situation.
