The Dan Lai resettlement area in Cua Rao village, Mon Son commune has 35 households of Dan Lai ethnic group with more than 100 people. For nearly a month, the wells dug tens of meters deep by the people here have dried up, leaving the bottom exposed, and people have to carry water from the stream for use.
"Our village has 35 households, all of them have dug wells. However, up to now, only one well of Mr. Hieu's family still has water to use, the rest have dried up. My family has two dug wells, one is more than 20 meters deep and the other is 14 meters deep, but now both wells have dried up. To have water for daily activities and drinking, every morning we have to go to Khe Moi, about 3 kilometers from our house, to get water. Every day, I spend an hour going to get water," said Mr. La Van Thai in Cua Rao village.
