Thousands of people flocked to Cao Thang night street on the day of resumption of activities.

Cao Thang night streetis one of the key activities of Vinh City to increase consumer demand, promote product consumption, support businesses, cooperatives, and craft villages in finding product outlets, and develop the night economy. Operated since the end of 2019, but due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, Cao Thang night street has had to temporarily suspend operations many times in the past 2 years.

On the evening of July 3, Cao Thang night street officially resumed operation with a new look, new stalls and new art programs. Accordingly, the city upgraded and renovated many items such as canopies, lighting systems, decorative lights along both sides of the street; sound and lighting systems, business stalls, public restrooms, etc. in a civilized, modern and sparkling direction at night.

The stalls feature many specialties from localities in the province. Specifically, the night street has 114 business locations, including 6 product groups: ready-made clothing; footwear; leather goods, bags, briefcases, hats of all kinds; souvenirs of all kinds; local specialties; street food and refreshments; regional specialty stalls.

Unlike the walking street which only operates on weekends, Cao Thang night street will be open to visitors every night of the week. The city also allows vehicles to travel in the night street area, without blocking the road as before to create favorable conditions for residents and tourists to visit and shop. Along with the success of the walking street, Cao Thang night street is expected to become a new highlight of Vinh city, contributing to the development of the night economy.
