Hundreds of rural workers have jobs after vocational training

(Baonghean.vn)- Every year, Bac Nghe An Vocational College of Economics and Technology provides vocational training for hundreds of students in rural areas.

On November 12, Bac Nghe An Vocational College of Economics and Technology held the opening ceremony of the new school year 2015 - 2016.

The Nghe An North KT-KT Vocational College is responsible for providing vocational training for post-secondary students and vocational training for rural workers in four districts including Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, Yen Thanh and Hoang Mai Town. In the new school year 2015-2016, the school enrolled 287 vocational secondary students, bringing the total number of secondary students at the school to 600.

Every year, the school also trains nearly 1,500 rural workers in elementary occupations such as veterinary medicine, gardening, civil electricity, tailoring, etc., contributing to increasing the rate of trained workers in localities that meet the new rural criteria.

In the 2014-2015 school year, 100% of vocational secondary school graduates were introduced to jobs by the school with salaries of 4.5 million VND or more.

At the opening ceremony, the school commended and rewarded 31 students with excellent academic achievements in the 2014-2015 school year. Pacific Group also awarded 33 scholarships to poor students with good academic performance; Van Lang Production and Trading Joint Stock Company awarded 10 scholarships to poor students who overcame difficulties.
