Hundreds of gifts come to poor households and students in Ky Son, Tuong Duong
(Baonghean.vn) - On January 27-28, the Youth Union of Nghe An Provincial Police coordinated with the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam, Nghe An Province Branch to present gifts to the mountainous commune of Huu Khuong (Tuong Duong) and Tay Son Ethnic Minority Secondary School (Ky Son).
In Huu Khuong commune (Tuong Duong), the delegation presented 100 cash gifts to 100 poor households in the commune, each worth 500,000 VND, to help people have a happier and warmer Tet. At Tay Son Ethnic Minority Secondary School, the delegation presented the school with a television worth 8 million VND along with 118 warm blankets, 118 pairs of socks, and 118 woolen hats for all students in the school.
The total value of the donation is 35 million VND. This is the heart of the Provincial Police Youth Union members and BIDV Bank to help students in the cold Tay Son region overcome the cold winter and excel in their studies.
