(Baonghean.vn) - On the first day, 320 children in Tri Le border commune, Que Phong district were vaccinated against measles and rubella.
On April 3, Tri Le Border Guard Station (Nghe An Provincial Border Guard) coordinated with Tri Le Commune Health Station and Que Phong District Health Center to vaccinate children aged 1 to 5 against measles and rubella in Tri Le Commune, Que Phong District.

The Border Guard Station's medical staff coordinated with the Commune Health Station to organize communication and mobilize parents to bring their children of vaccination age for vaccination. The unit's mass mobilization officers crossed forests and waded through streams to remote villages far from the center to mobilize families to bring their children to vaccination sites in the area. At the same time, they reviewed cases of delayed vaccination and absenteeism to notify parents of unvaccinated children about the time for catch-up vaccination.
Captain Le Anh Duc, doctor of Tri Le Border Post, said: "The unit's military medical staff has proactively coordinated with the local commune health department to prepare well in terms of people, materials and equipment to ensure the vaccination campaign is absolutely safe, without missing any children in the vaccination target."
The implementation of measles-rubella vaccination for all children from 1 to 5 years old aims to contribute to disease prevention, protect children's health as well as reduce the burden of rubella and congenital rubella syndrome in the coming years in border areas.
It is expected that this vaccination campaign will take place over 4 days in many villages to ensure that all children in border areas are vaccinated.
